2026 16th Annual Bengal Class at the River 9-3-26
Smith River Sports Complex (5K)
Axton, Virginia 24054
Departure Time: All runners need to be on bus #156 by 3:45 pm SHARP! All runners need to wear their new black team CSXC warm-up and cool-down t-shirts. All runners must also have their uniforms, training shoes, and spikes.
Schedule of events
Course opens- 4:00 pm
Girls Varsity and JV Combined – 6:30 pm
All the girls on the team
Boys Varsity and JV Combined – 7:00 pm
All the boys on the team
Course- Course is all grass and trails course will be well marked with orange flags, white paint, and cones
Buses- Once teams are dropped off at the entrance to XC course buses must park in the main parking lot.
Bathrooms- There are bathrooms located at the main complex, bottom fields area and there is a porta-john located near the start line (Coaches help us by telling your runners to not tear up the bathrooms) If it is muddy we would ask runners to take shoes off before entering bathroom
Main Bathrooms at soccer complex (Hand sanitizer will be provided)
Bathrooms at bottom fields (Hand sanitizer will be provided)

Spectators- $5.00 per car (Ticket takers will be at the front entrance to complex.)
Tee-shirts-- Cre8tee LLC will be be onsite printing custom tee-shirts for our event
Tee-shirt cost- $30 and up
Since this is a school night, we will not stop for food on the way home. Runners, please bring food to eat outside the bus after your race. We expect to arrive back at CSHS around 10:30 pm. GO KNIGHTS!!!!!
